The view of Side Pike and the Langdales in the Lake District.
I chose a clear day in the winter to go up Side Pike to make sure there was some snow on the surrounding hills. The image is actually a composite of five images taken handheld with a 14-24 mm f/2.8 lens purely by pivoting my body.
Note the lens flare. I quite liked this kind of effect – as long as it doesn’t look fake – so was happy not to edit it out.
Please see my gallery pages if you’d like to purchase any of these images (note that not all the images seen in my portfolios can necessarily be offered for sale, particularly portraits).
